The heroes brought peace to the world of Novastraia, but now the Ember Empire finds itself on the brink of collapse as it’s under threat of invasion by the Netherim and its allies. In Torchlight III, it’s been a century since the events of Torchlight II, where the great heroes of old defeated The Dark Alchemist and sealed the Netherlord’s heart inside the Clockwork Core. This grand adventure will also introduce new features, such as three epic acts, unique Relic subclasses, fully customizable forts, a challenging end-game experience “Fazeer Shah’s Dun-Djinn”, the multi-tiered progression system “Contracts” that lets players earn Fame and unlock elite items, along with a myriad of quests and boss battles across randomly-generated areas filled with epic loot drops.

Publisher Perfect World Entertainment and developer Echtra Games announced Torchlight III will exit Early Access and launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 13, and later in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch for $39.99. The game has an official Version 1.0 launch date this coming October.Įchtra Inc. and Perfect World Entertainment seemed to have every intention of launching this game this Fall and it seems they’re sticking to it. In fact, it was just in June 2020 during the PC Gaming Show that Torchlight 3 made its entry into Steam’s early access program. It doesn’t seem like it’s been all at that long since Torchlight 3 arrived in early access.
